Witches Paddle

Halloween being imminent, and on the eve of a full moon, the water, is calm and the weather unusually warm in mid October in Mississauga, friends from Mississauga and Oakville gathered, representing South Africa, Mauritius, Czech Republic, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago and of course Tanzania to see the rising of the moon two nights in a row.

Clad in a cape and a hat that threatened to spin off in a gust, we sat and stood on our paddle boards mesmerized and energized by the rise of the moon, meditating in its reflection.

People gathered on shore to see the silhouettes atop lake Ontario, signalling another season, calm in the change and ready for what is to come.

I managed to catch a few sketches as well, adding to my zen moment and here are some of them. Happy Halloween!
